Texture in Tattoo Application

In this seminar you will learn ways to accomplish texture in your color tattooing from hair and fuzz to smooth and glossy. Techniques in color blending and theory, methods of practical application, tips and tricks to get certain textures. Useful for realistic tattooing to illustrative. Portraits look great, but is the hair left kind of wanting? Maybe you would like to add an extra dimension to make your work much more interesting? Add some texture! For any level of tattooing, includes a booklet of the information covered and plenty of Q & A time.

The "SUPER SWEET AARON IS, FULL COLOR BLAST PAINTED REALISM TATTOO SEMINAR SITUATION 9,000!!!"
This year I'm going to be doing another full color piece demonstrating new pigment I'm using and mixes, blending and total execution, start to finish. I will be doing a tattoo starting with the printed reference and ending with the completed tattoo, including my recommendations for procedure, aftercare, style and technique. This will be a very relaxed setting, as you all will be sitting at floor lever with and around me as I work, everything I do will be explained and I will be showing you just how I do what it is I do. Bring a notepad, something to write with and a printed reference and stencil paper as i will be going through how I prepare my stencils...

P.S. it's a BYOB event...

Piercing 101

Piercing 101 is a general overview of everything a new or novice body piercer should know before working on the general public. This class covers a broad range of topics ranging from interpreting what you have learned during an apprenticeship to understanding measurements, jewelry sizing and proper piercing placement. We will review everything that you should have but may not have learned during a proper apprenticeship. We will go over the proper piercing names, placement, jewelry sizes, procedures and proper tools for the job. We will learn what cross contamination is and how it can be prevented as well as what bio-medical waste is and how we should treat it. All students will receive a caliper, gauge wheel and sizing chart as well as a copy of the power point presentation and a certificate of completion. For your convenience Piercing 101 will be held directly after the Florida Body Piercing Certification Class, at the end of the Piercing 101 class we will answer any questions that students might have about anything taught during the Piercing certification class as well as anything tauguht during the Piercing 101 class. He'll be sharing with only professional tattoo artists over 60years of experience in one of man's oldest and today's hottest art forms.
He was known as the Frisco Flyer because of his rapid tattooing style and the designer of classic tattoo machines, Star Struck, Frisco Flyer, the 4X4 and the Lyle Tuttle circle frame.

CERTIFICATE of COMPLETION (suitable for framing) is awarded for each seminar that counts as advanced education credits with most Health Departments.

The care, daily operation, repair. Your tattoo machines should be, but second nature to you and serve you faithfully day in and day out. In this way you can apply 100% of your shop time to tattooing. This is a complete study of all component parts of the tattoo machine and their interaction and relationship. Demonstrations of cutting springs; making contact points; building needle bars with bent eyes; choose of sizes and configuration for different tattooing effects; needle soldering. Tips on how to find the materials that you’ll need to build, replace and maintain the equipment.
Good tattooing is based on your machines and of cause the hands that tuned it.

2PM - 4PM - FRIDAY, MARCH 30, 2012 - Seminar #2 - Lyle Tuttle

DESIGN and BUILD your own tattooing machines from start to finish: Cast, fabricated or bent frames, even “frame less.”
COILS; How wire and core size effect the finished machine operation, outliner or shader?
Build you own coil winder from parts you could have stole from your mother. Short cuts in building all the parts needed; the best raw materials and where to find them. Learn the JOYS of building your own Tattoo Machines and accessories; power supplies, tubes and needle bars, etc., etc. everything needed in applying your trade.
Know the real joys of self-sufficiency.

Introduction to Polynesian Symbolism

This seminar will be an introduction to the history, ritual and symbolism of polynesian tatou. It will begin with an explanation of the three major island styles (New Zealand, Samoa and French Polynesia) of tatou, followed by the translation of common forms,body locations and their meanings. The seminar will be approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours..
